Fruits and vegetables proved to be a source of happiness

Researchers from the University of Warwick have demonstrated that eating large amounts of fruits and vegetables increases the level of happiness. At the same time, it can be compared with an increase in well-being from finding a job. The scientists ' article was published in the American Journal of Public Health.

The study examined the diet of 12 thousand randomly selected people who kept diet diaries, and their psychological state. Participants in the long-term study The Household, Income and Labor Dynamics in Australia Survey (HILDA) indicated which foods they consumed every day and in what quantities.
