You won't be the only one, so, if you’d prefer to steer clear of all the overbooked restaurants, but don’t love the idea of the mountain of washing up, supermarkets will have you covered with their Valentine’s Day meal deals for two.
Now, with 14 February fast approaching, all the major supermarkets are unveiling their Valentine's Day meal deals. Typically, the deals will get you starters, mains, sides, and a dessert for two, as well as a bottle of wine or a non-alcoholic drink – and at a discounted price for the occasion, what’s not to love?
In the lead-up to the big day, M&S has announced that Christmas favourites will be returning for the occasion, while Aldi will be launching an a la carte-style offering starting at £2.99 a head. Elsewhere, Waitrose has wasted no time, launching a £10 chocolate truffles and prosecco deal, available from 29 January, before the full menu lands.
